Mission complete!

Now I'm happy! I have never played softer guitar in my life, and the tremolo is so great on this guitar! Stay in tune perfectly!!!!

The color of the neck, I just like the natural looking satin finishes myself.

WTF is happening with that lions claw! I just noticed it!

I kinda like the neck like that would have liked to have seen a bit more of the neck though.. in the upper fret area. Not sure about the extended trem route, but overall, its killer!

Re: Home made JEM by TWIN

I have one Purple red JEM with all maple neck and red inlays....It`s in refinishing process now...and on the neck will be with 6105 medium jumbo frets...

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

With a Pear JEM a have experimented with a brown color...and the neck has a little flames on back...that`s the reason for staining the neck...and I want to connect an old and modern touch in one guitar!!!

I always experimenting in my guitar building process, because I enjoy in this...I love my way!

Lion claw, ooo yea!! I extended this little detail because I see it on the net an some of the other guitars...and when i glued a veneer...it`s damaged on one place, so I decided to do so ... not that I wanted but now I do not mind ...

Sorry on my english...I hope that all of you understand what i`m writing!!

Re: Home made JEM by TWIN

your english is probably better than mine
I see what you say about the lion claw and that makes sense to me. If you messed something up, make it unique!

Re: Home made JEM by TWIN

Nice work. And I like the fact that you put your logo on headstock insted of fake Ibanez logo.

Re: Home made JEM by TWIN

thank you ... I put my logo on the guitar because I've build this guitar ... if I put the original Ibanez logo on my custom build guitar that`s no right....... It is a criminal offense!

To put it simply ... you can build whatever guitar you want, but do not put original logo on guitar headstock (Fender, Musicman, Ibanez...etc.....) because that guitar is not made in the factory!!!
