Cool! Congrats on the newbie BRMR. Look forward to hearing what you think of it.

Re: How many BMR were produced?

The guitar is pretty good, but as I always said, its the average Ibanez feel and sound. Its as good as 2570, 3120, or any other prestige with Di Marzios on it (jems and other signatures included).

I owned too many ibanez guitars to really be excited about the sound or feel of the guitar.... but its the looks that still gets me.

Honestly, I bought it because I really like how it looks, and I think its goign to be a sought after guitar in a few years.

I plan to use it a lot, but I ll be very carefull with it.

Anyway, it's a great guitar. I love mine and Breeds rule bigtime. I've really *used* mine, even took it out one day and played at a jam. And it is still mint, not a ding, scratch, anything. So far for the fears of some that the mirror finish was (too) fragile. Anyway, I was considering selling or trading it for another UV, but this one definitely stays and will be played to dust.

I'm guessing in Argentina things are pricy...

So we are looking at 500 worldwide maybe?

That was for last [this] year, not including the year before, and only one distributor [although a very large one]

Hey Rich,

Do you have figures of US imports for '05 too? With those we could make an estimate of the total production numbers. My guess is that we're looking at 2000 units tops, for now.

Regards,

JP

It's in the works my man, it's in the works as we speak!!!

BY THE WAY!!! My VRMR will top yours, because it's already being scheduled for a BuzzFeiten fitting !!!

It costs a sh¡tload of money, like 580 Euros or more to have it done, but since I already got started with this axe...

As soon as the first pictures are in, you'll be in the knowing. I'm getting a timeline in photos by RafaPG, the man who will fix my axe, so expect the "Jem77VRMR #000002 coming into being" thread anytime soon. He told me that as from today his main task will be my vine .

My continued best to you and yours bro, especially for these particular days!

Regards,

JP

So, what's *your* estimate of the total figure Rich?

Regards,

JP

(Seriously thinking whether to get another one and have a DP in red/silver/gold laid in, now that they can be gotten at bargains at some places.)

Like Joe Soprano would say: "It's nothing personal dude, it's just (GAS) business"
