(i'm affraid the BuzzFeiten mod will be much more intrusive than the leds)

That's not enough data to even start to think about, but if there was an over/under of 1000 I might take the under. [though I am notoriously bad at bets ]

Re: How many BMR were produced?

I noticed something very interesting about this jem and I wonder if other people noticed the same, or if my perception is deceiving me. The notes in this guitar seem to have more sustain than the other jems I had.

I wonder if its just me, or if someone else has the same impresion.

The more I look at this guita, the more Im convinced that mirror/black pyramids would ve been killer!

Re: How many BMR were produced?

Well, best tone is subjective and depends on your rig, your rig setup, your guitar setup, and your tastes.

Dont get me wrong, I like the way it sounds, but I wouldnt say it has better tone than other Di Marzio equipped guitars. With a particular rig, one guitar may sound better than the next, and that may be the opposite with a different rig, or even with the same rig and a different setup.

But, how long a note sustains is something inherent to the guitar, and this one seems to have more sustain than the other jems I've owned.

They're cool I'm just wondering what would happen if you like hanging your thumb over the top, would it rub them off eventually? and they're a one use item, once you put it on your guitar, you can't take them off without destroying them.

Re: How many BMR were produced?

I for one WILL put Piramids on my BRMR, I think the only "bad" part of the MR is the dot inlays that do not do justice to the super shiny top....

Also I am thinking of putting leds under the piramids using super small leds... but thats is my next year project...

In the mean time MERRY XMAS!!!

I look forward to seeing that

And I agree the dots totally detract from the BRMR.

Shortcut by Ibanez??

I think it cost them in the end

Iv'e alway's wondered about the great sustain theory, how long do you actually hold a note for in a common song? 3/5 seconds??

Re: How many BMR were produced?

Do not know how long a Jem will hold a note but my Les Paul copy (Eagle) holds most notes 6 to 7 sec witout any amplification and using the High gain of my Mesa it holds 12 to 18 depending on the string.... simply amazing....love that guitar
