Ibanez JEM MC & FP Pirates!

JEM77PFP

JEM77MCPFP

Fun to imagine if Ibanez did the Pirate Jem models, mix some of the highlites from past present, into the future.

Anyone have some Pirate Jem/UV pics?

A little cross breeding going on!!!

I don't think FP's look right with black pups though!! Interesting concepts

Re: Ibanez JEM MC & FP Pirates!

Thanks, fun to change up the tone, I think the FP needs all purple pickups and gold hardware, looks like something Jessie James would sling while hangin with Jack Sparrow on the black pearl.

The PMC looks powdery in a cosmic kinda way, the vine makes it not so cold like the vibe the pyramids give off.

Dig the FP neck on the DY! Devine on a neon, perfect combo.

I love the PMC with rosewood and vine inlay, but hate the FP headstock - you need to hunt down a VBK neck for that one

Yeah, the FP doesn't look good with black pickups.

But the overall concept is fantastic! Loved them!

Re: Ibanez JEM MC & FP Pirates!

Rodney, sorry to disappoint you but I don't think that the PMC is complimented by the rosewood board. is the sound affected? I am on a custom project and I am interested in the sound of the combination :-)

I agree,

Don't think that rosewood looks right on Saul's guitar.

Re: Ibanez JEM MC & FP Pirates!

IMHO, FPs look GREAT with green pickups. That's what they should have come with

Re: Ibanez JEM MC & FP Pirates!

No disappoint, we all like different flavors. ..hmm vbk neck would be factory looking.

To me maple board sounds: bright & tight. Rosewood: warm & smooth. Ebony: brown mid & dark shrill.

yickes.... saul via, do ya think he is still bent out of shape? cuz I acquired a health condition the last time. Do not want to be around when he is angry......Best I run to the hills hard fast and continuous if he has that look in his posts...oh deearrr!

Yeah, green pickups in the FP looks flawless, Tim did that once.
