Have these been re-introduced or were they never taken off the production line for Japan or is it just one big typo?

I went to the Japanese Ibane site and it states that they still sell the BSB and FP. Here is the link. http://www.ibanez.co.jp/japan/frame_japan.html You have to go in under electric guitars then under Steve Vai and you will see them all listed.

I have not been following JEMs for a bit so I dont know if this has already been covered.

Yup...both models are still available in Japan, which isn't unusual. *Probably for the same reason that there are half a dozen Paul Gilbert models available in Japan: *they simply sell better there. *

Ya and you can get some of them pretty cheap.. through ishibashi. The only problem that is (i live in canada there could be a difference) is that you have to pay 6% + GST.

what are you talking about? I thought you only have to pay taxes on what you buy here, in Canada. I certainly didn't pay any taxes on that CD player I bought new from US

btw, on the Russian site, they list the Floral, both 555s, 7BSB, as well as JS700 and JS900.

yeah, the BSB and FP are "available" in both japan and the UK..

The bsb isnt listed in the ishibashi webshop, though.. and when i emailed koichi (sp? ) he said the BSB wasnt available in japan, so i couldnt order one direct from them..

I'd have thought that every model theyre making should be available direct from Ishibashi...?

I just went on the Russian site after I read your post.....looks like it's better to be Russian if you're an Ibanez fan.

They have RG2027x's, BSB's, *JS700's, RG7620's and way better color choices. Why do the Russians get better choices than the Americans?

I wish Ibanez would have a global product line, or at least divide it between Japan and the rest of the world.
