JS 100 Help - Tone

I have have my js100 for about 3 and a half years, until the other day it was brill....but for some reason....after putting the guitar down for a few moments I have lost the neck pickup tone!!!!When the switch is that position it sounds too bright(it's more like a cross between the neck pickup and both).

Anyone have any idea's???is it a pickup prob or a switch /wiring?

Is this a flaw in the guitar???are there any others i should look out for????

Thnks in advance for any help

Very depressed Matt
