Sorry about that Glen. *Anyway, who knows about the 1000????? *I want to know if the BNJ gets in the way of your playing?

BNJ's have bnever bothered me on JS or Jems, but I'm very used to the feel as I always play my JS's anyway.

Ok, that's good to hear Rich. *I have a lousy Squier Strat right now, and the BNJ is so hard to play with when I want to get up to the 22nd fret. *I guess a high quality signature model would have these thing corrected. *duh.
:sarcasm:

I'm not saying it'll be any different that your Squire, a bud of mine has one and that BNJ never bothered me either.

I just figured it would be better, since my squier is from a Strat Pack, and it's not really the highest quality Squire you can find. *I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

I don't mind the BNJ TOO much; it's better than a standard 4 bolt because of the slight angle. *But it's still not as comfy as the AANJ on my Sabre. *Wish they'd have done an AANJ on a Radius/JS. *BUT - the joint is more mobile on my Sabre. *I guess there's always a trade off.

So, anyone have any tricks on how to make an AANJ more stable?

I think I'd prefer a BNJ, as long as it doesn't get in my way. *More sustain I hear, but i have yet to notice that. *I haven't play too many AANJs, so I can't really compare. *I guess we'll see.

JS 1000 BTB, is an awesome finish. *I think i'm going to be in love with my BP though. *If only every member of Jemsite got a free guitar of choice, then, my problems would be solved. *I'm just rambling now, so I'll stop so I don't anger glen again. :angryfire:

Ok, i have now got the fred installed, and have played it for more than one hour. My first reaction was that i thought it soundet just about as the pickup recently on my strat (a Seymor n' Duncan that i liked). But soon i discovered that it is much easier to get harmonics, and it is a bit sharper. However, the sustain is much worse now. There is now real flow in the tone, it just sort of die after a couple of seconds. *There where some other issues on my strat that where altered. (i changed the sadle) And i dont know if this is the reason that the sustain has ben altered. I mean, this cant be the sound of the satriani pickupp...

We'll se what turns out..
