JS-1000 Lo Pro Edge - Shims under saddles??

I just noticed that there were metal shims sticking under the sadles of my lo-pro, thus raising them. Is this normal? I just checked the classic Edge that I've got, and I don't see them there....
Is this because of that radius "copy from satch own" neck thinggy?

Thanks.

I take it the Edge isn't on a JS. Shims are supposed to be under the center 4 saddles to correctly radius the bridge to the fretboard.

Well, as a matter of fact, the Edge now is on the JS. No strings on it yet, though.... So I need to move the shims to the Edge also, I suppose?

There is a lot of setting up to do on this one, it also has shims under the toplock, two layers.

(the reason I switched the trems, is because the Pro has some armholder troubles I need to get fixed).
They're basicly the same, so I don't mind it for now..

The shims are stuck on with double side adhesive tape, have fun! Better to just cut up nut shims for the Edge, that's what I do. You need 1 medium and 1 thick.

I've "transfered" satch shims before and the gummi tape helps to reposition them on the next bridge. Just as long as you remember that the shimmed bridge goes with the satch neck, regardless of which neck the guitar is on. Sort of an elementary point, but I didn't see it mentioned.

Got that figgured out, but thanks...

But I've fixed the Pro Edge. The armholder got real loose. So that one went back on the JS.

Now I need to set it up completly again. I can't get the action low. It's 2 mm now, and if I go lower, the buzzing would be to much.
