JS 10th..............

I'm sure this answer won't be one of the ORIGINALS ,and I do apologise since now but I'm curious to know if someone know if Joe has ever used a Js10th live or in the studio.
Thank you so much........

Pearly, wherever she is, is a JS2 prototype.

His 10th makes an appearance every now and then. Used it on that mini lesson he did for guitar.com 2 years ago. You can't miss it, it's got an inlay plaque at the 21st fret

wow didn't know Pearly was a JS2 as I was under the impressions that all JS2s were wood... pity thing though she was stolen - her chrome was still in excellent condition. i'll have to check out that guitar.com video again missed the plaque inlay

Being that "Pearly" is a JS2, it IS a wood body. I've never heard that it was a Luthite body

Nope. I'm pretty sure that Joe just switched the pickups for the same reason that any of us have switched pickups: because he wanted a different tone.

ummh... do i run any dangers by switching tunes on my 90th sometimes (drop d to normal, mainly) ... if my trem is BLOCKED?

just the fact that joe has different GUITARS for different tunings made me wonder about this... but i think it's just because of the string tension and the trem angle, eh? ... so no dangers if my edge trem is blocked like this?:

What a waste, but, yes, you can do anything to it you want tuning wise with no ill effects.

waste... yes... i tried to go for a js-6 but i dont think i need to tell ya they're hard to get ...

then i thought about buying the js2000 but i HATE the champagne gold... and the js2000 is only available in champaigne gold (which i hate, by the way )...

so i had to block the trem since i NEVER EVER use it and it's just fluffing around with my tuning and i use to rest my handwrist on the bridge (not good with edge trem!!! :P)

but hey... at least it's a well done tremblock, isn't it?

As long as it's easily removable.
