i read in the April Guitarist mag that satch has a new 7-string model. does anyone have any pic of this one? any news if this is gonna be a production model? kudos...

more importantly- are we ready for a JS-7?

If you go to www.satriani.com, and get his winter webcast, he gives a tour of his home studio and shows it. Its just a mahogony body like the JS-6 , but with a Lo-Pro 7.

it's a cool guitar.

satch has other direct mounted PU guitars which i think are more desireable.

i wonder how's his deal with Conford amp's coming along...

I think that ibanez could do a lot worse than making a JS7 production guitar (well, actually, they already have done worse: can we say "K7"?)

Natural finish would look damn good
