JS fret question

I have done a search and come up with conflicting answers...

I am wanting to get an exact refret on a JS1. Catalog specs call for 6105's. Is this Warmoth or Dunlop? They are not the same specs. Anyone know for sure?

Thanks!

Re: JS fret question

They should be Dunlop. The JS and the Jem come with dunlop frets

Re: JS fret question

hmmm...well, too late I hadn't heard anything, and needed to give an answer, so I just went with what seemed to have the most information. About 95% of posts throughout the net indicated it was Warmoth, NOT Dunlop.

Can anyone else chime in with info?

Thanks!

p.s. according to Rich's site...many of the Jem's are listed with WARMOTH 6105 frets.

Re: JS fret question

Contact Jim Donahue. He was major player while working for ibanez back in the 80s-90s.
He's responded to several of my emails through the yrs.
