js-special-wh ?

I bought a new js guitar just two days ago in Mexico City
On the cardboard case it came in says model: js-special-wh
I've searched everywhere and I can't find specs for the js-special-wh

Specs:
White
Edge tremolo
DiMarzio pickups
Abalone dot inlays
Back plate has Joe's signature and #69

It looks like a JS1000 the only difference is that it doesn't have the
high pass filter and tone control push/pull knobs

Made in Japan, Serial No. F0312245 so it must be a 2003 model

I've been playing a strat for 16 years, but this guitar is a dream come true. I like everything about it; body, neck, sound, weight.

Can someone help me figure out the exact model, thanks

It should have an Edge trem on it. One of those 100 they did that I thought Tommy Lee had bought the whole run of, surprising one's in Mexico.

Cool number

Maybe Rich meant Tom Lee Music in HK.

Maybe they're all numbered 69?

Thats 1 weird JS model! if it has no high Pass Or Coil Tapping!

I would love a guitar with a decent Edge Trem in it though!
do they do a JS 1000 in white?

Did "th" go out of fashion?

The 900 isn't bad value compared to the rest of the JS range.

The 900 is great. Not "only a basic guitar wiv a floating trem".

It's got the dimarzios, build quality is the same as on the 1000, and, apart from the multi-radius-neck, with 20$ for the 2 DPDTs and a bit of solder it can be easily transformed into one. (If you really need to do it; the switchable high pass filter is pretty useless anyway.. in my opinion).

I wish i got one then
Lol!!
I got a JS 100 n its really annoying me cause the guy that sold it to me new gave it to me with broken parts, part missing and everytime i send it back it comes back to me with more dents! Grr

I like the coil tapping feature but the high pass does sound a little bit crap

the js `1000 special was initially supposed to be sold only in asia. it is a limited edition model. it is the same as the js 1000wh. the only difference is that it is signed by joe satriani on the backplate and the guitar has a hot stamp logo behind it. it was meant to be sold when joe satriani was suppose to come to asia (malaysia, singapore, etc) last year but did not come due to certain reasons. im from malaysia and we have quite a number of it here even though it is limited edition.
