Red face Jem 20 stupid story/thought

When I first saw the Jem 20 it was on the Ibanez site. My first thought was how great a black Jem with a splattered multi colored paint effect looked. Needless to say, I was stoked and couldn't wait to get it. Then of course with a little further research, I realized what it was. I still thought it was great but I was somehow let down a bit. I was just playing it and it brought me back to that moment. So of course, I went back on to Ibanez and it still looks like a black guitar with a splattered top at first glance. I was just wondering if anyone else had thought this or not. Maybe I'm nutty, or I only see things with an 80's eye...
I think that would be a cool looking Jem though...

I've never thought the JEM 20 looked black. If you want a splattered black JEM, it would be easy enough to make one ... for a lot less moeny than a 20th too.

Lol.....I remember that pic It did look black as they had a black background. I will say that I am enjoying mine very much. It's got a lovely variety of tones, plays like a dream and the weight is not an issue at all. Also the durability of the body is notable. You could knock a hole in a wall with it and blow off the drywall dust to find not a mark on it

Try that on concrete and report back

The black was the only way to show the color threading. I had to shoot all mine on black, otherwise you just can't see what you're buying.

Red face Re: Jem 20 stupid story/thought

I just meant I was let down when I first read about what it was. I wasn't sure how great a piece it would be (feel-sound). I love mine. It sounds better than I imagined it would. My kids think Steve Vai must be my friend, because I have his light up guitar...
