JEM 70V SFG Hard to find???

So I recently came across a new JEM 70V SFG and went ahead and picked it up for a really good price. For the past couple of weeks I noticed that many, if not most, online retailers are showing no stock of this model. Did Ibanez discontinue the 70VSFG? I realize it is one of the cheaper models and that may be the reason that it is selling out, but I was curious to know if this color may become extinct in 2017. I still see it listed on the main Ibanez site as of now. Thoughts or insight from anyone in the "know"?

Rich said the SFG was having intonation problems coming from the factory.

Would also guess that the blue floral pattern really took off and the Indo factory has been focused on that model.

I did play a halfway decent set up SFG at Sam Ash a year ago. It was a really fun guitar. And the original edge tremolo is the huge selling point.

Re: JEM 70V SFG Hard to find???

I hate to hear that. Mine seems to be ok. It was out of tune when I got it but the action and intonation seemed to be fine. Now I'll have to go down and really check the intonation and hopefully be able to resolve any issues that I hadn't discovered initially. Thanks.

Also, I plan to possibly pick up a BFP later this year if the funds are right. That is unless I come up with the cash to pick up a 35th JEM in Lochness Green, then my guitar funds will be done for the year...

You have to wait 5 years to buy one of those 35th but the good side of it is that you have time to save your money
