Jem 777VSK Question

I have a Near Mint Condition Ultra Rare Jem 777VSK (No dings, very light pickup fading) with original european Ibanez RG-C Case. There is supposedly less VSK out there than PMC (271). I wonder how much I should be asking if I ever want to sell it.

Thanks

Re: Jem 777VSK Question

Those things are worthless! You'll be lucky to get $5 if you can get anything. You'd better just give it to me.

Sorry, kidding. I'd like to know what they're worth too. They're are so few around!

Re: Jem 777VSK Question

I would think it is worth as much as a BFP because they were both only manufactured for one year, correct?

Re: Jem 777VSK Question

Regardless, as with any collectible it's only worth as much as someone is willing to spend on it.

Which is why, unless you're strapped for cash, you hold out until someone pays what it's worth.

Ok, to help the OP out, let's frame it like this. More or less valuable than a 777LNG? You get extra points if you provide your own opinion on how much.

Also, Luthier, can you provide some pictures? That would help, not to mention provide us with some eye candy.

Re: Jem 777VSK Question

Thanks guys!

Right now it's in storage

I know it's worth what the market is willing to pay, but a comparative value helps in establishing a fair price. I am not willing to sell now, but since my collection is getting a bit too much I will eventually sell a few. Plus... It will make the wife happy... and a happy wife makes a happy man... :-)

When you start shooting photos, make sure to use good lighting and include everything you can. Make 'em nice and BIG too. We need some juicy pics of your VSK preferably wallpaper sized...

Re: Jem 777VSK Question

Not seeing any dollar figures here as this drew me in. At the shop today, picked up a new to me Ibanez and the owner who knows how I am about buying Ibanez guitars asked me If I would buy a Jem777 if he did a swap with a guy for a Gibson Firebird.

First off I do not know jack about Jems. Pretty educated about Ibanez guitars mainly the older MIJ stuff. Always stayed away because of the cost of a Jem. But this guy will work with me with some trades.

Don't know which 777 it is, as I see there are a couple. But he says it's an '87, green with pyramids. I can get more info.

He wants 1,700 USD. Lot of money to me. Just wondering if this is a LOW price with the small info. Condition unknown but he says pretty good without doing a real inspection.

Thanks for the reply

What does that mean as far as $s? I know condition is key and original parts. I would not keep, move it you know.

Tell me a asking price for all original good condition with players wear(no better for conversation)

Please

Re: Jem 777VSK Question

Good player's condition probably $2500 - $2750 USD. The value fluctuates of course, but I'd say that's ball park.

Re: Jem 777VSK Question

Okay, mate. I guess you are closer than I was. I'm no expert, I was just going by what I've seen in the past. $1700 is still a great price for sure. Speaking of Aussies..., what do you think are the chances of Mark Weber winning the F1 championship this year?

i really fancied mark weber to win f1 championship this year,he wasnt far away last year.im a betting man and at begining of the season he was 25/1 to win f1 championship very very very generous.but i vowed never to bet on f1 again after i had £40 on rubens barichello (cant remember which gp it was) he led all the way but team orders he had to let schumacher past on the last lap,i wasnt best pleased i can tell you lol.
