Jem 77FP Headstock material.
A while ago I purchased a Jem77FP neck off of the bay, it had been broken and repaired and was really cheap, It has been on one of my swirled guitars for the last 18 month or so and plays ok, minus a few truss rod issue's. A couple of weeks ago I decided to swirl the headstock GMC to go with a GMC body I had finished (now sold).
Today I managed to take the FP material off the headstock fully intact (not counting the small tear), I removed all the old yellowing clear coat and was left with this!
Im going to keep this for any future restoration projects, I would love to own another 77FP one day, And Im certain this material is unavailable. Im happy I managed to remove this and did not just paint over it as that would not be right.
