Jem 7BFP Any good?

Ok hi guys..

Im kinda torn between a couple of guitars, so I've got a list of 4, do you think you could put them in sort of a top 4 list for me?
Jem 7BFP, Jem 555, JS100, JS1000

If I had to put it down to 2 of them, I'm really torn between the Jem 7BFP and the JS1000 - also, is £650 (about £1000) for the Jem 7BFP and £700 (about $1050) for the JS1000 good?

The Jem77BFP is good and that price is a good one as long as the condition is also good.

£650 is the price for a very beaten up one. £900-£1000 is a more typical price for a good condition one.

ps dont bother with the jem555

Either the BFP or the JS1000 are good choices. I like the look and feel of the BFP a little more myself. I could smack myself for not buying one when I worked at a large music store chain during those BFP years.

I would say BFP as well, but at that price it's probably taken a beating.
On the other hand for £700 the JS1000 should be as good as new, so go for that one if you ask me.

As Simon said for a good condition BFP expect to pay in the region of £1000.

BFP all the way.

At that price the condition isn't important. If you later decide that you don't want it anymore you can easily sell it on for the same price.

I would keep a bfp forever in any condition, just to look at it on the wall

BTW the one in the WINTER issue of GUITARIST magazine has already been sold. It was advertised for £400.
