Jem 7VWH real or fake? Please help

Guys I need you help about this guitar.

It looks legit but the headstock worries me the most with the sticker serial number.

Here is the Item number: 150524448003 on ebay. It has the video on it!

P.S. Sorry about posting it here but later I've discovered a thread about the fakes!

I own a 7VWh and that one looks legit but you're right about the stamp on the back..... where's the Team J-Craft silver stamp?.... unless they changed it. Either it's a really really good fake or it's real. I can't tell it apart from mine.

Usually the monkey grip is a little weird, the bridge is all gold without the black parts, they just don't "look" right upon closer inspection. I'd say it's real but hopefully someone like Rich Harris, or anyone else in the know can chime in with a better answer than mine. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Just play it for a bit...... if it feels like a couple of grand then your good to go...... if it feels like a couple of hundred bucks, then you're in trouble.

I'd agree with macka. Looks pretty good to me apart from the sticker serial number...?

give a close up of the trem. if its an original edge (which it looks like it is), edge pro, or lo-pro edge, then it is. however it does look real. and ibanez isnt putting the j-craft stamp on everything anymore (so ive heard) so that wont tell you much

Re: Jem 7VWH real or fake? Please help

As Rich pointed out in the duplicate thread about these a week or so ago, they're factory seconds. They also have USED stamped on the back of the headstock. Go ahead and use the search feature--you'll see the other thread. They are real Jems, but did not pass inspections standards for blems, etc. Also. The Team J Craft stamps didn't come along until around 2003-2004.
