JEM 90 and the RG METAL1

i can't believe the rg metal looks so much the same as the jem 90

this is a picture from this site.

How much does the RG go for, now and/or 2nd hand?

Also has anyone played one or got any coments on it?

Wow if you find a stockpile of them let me know, I have to have one! Stick a couple of Breeds in it and I'll never let her leave my side...

The finishes of the 90 and the metal are pretty much the same but the colour of them is different (from what i have seen)...... I like the colour of the 90 a lot better and also cos it has the matching headstock finish. Another thing i noticed is that pics of the 90 do not do it justice. Don't get me wrong, it looks great in pics but in person they are amazing!

Haven't seen a metal 'in the flesh'

I'll bet they play practically the same. Although the Jem is easier to pick up. The Jem looks nicer IMHO.

Er, actually the RG Metal came first, so technically the Jem 90 looks like it!

I'm a big J-Custom fan... spent several years looking for an RG Metal before I got a Jem 90. My advice: If you can't find an RG Metal, don't pass the Jem 90 by. It's one of the best sounding, best playing, and coolest looking guitars out there. I think it's cooler looking than the RG Metal, but of course cannot compare playability or tone.

I've got a Jem90th on the radar, but those DAMN FINANCES are keeping me from getting him ride away. I've got to go board in two weeks, let's hope I keep my arms in tact I bet a Jem90 would look Unreal next to my PGM90 . I would donate an organ to get the whole 90th series, it really stings that the JPM's and Satches are the most difficult
