Jem Bass an original Despagni

Hi All
I have a Jem Bass pink , gray, and black swirl 4 string.
I was wondering if you could direct me in finding a
place to buy a pick guard and pot for it .
I searched the archives here but came up empty.
Did Jem make many Bass guitars?
Cheers
SRB

WOW !!! an original Despagni JEM I've no idea how many were made, but I'm sure we'd ALL love to see pictures of this rare beast

As to a new pickguard, try Jeannie's Pickguards and any guitar shop should be able to sort you out with a new pot

I like the colors of the swirl but... I've never really known what to think about those Despagni JEMs.

That Bass is from just about 89-90 as Despagni was a friend who decided to start swirling after he spent mant days in my old shop . I always loved his wild designs of his guitars

TIA

It doesn't even look like he "made it, more like just cut up an OLD guitar body and painted it.

Search Jemsite for Despagni, you'll find some unfavorable remarks about his business practices. And I don't think Darren was completely praising J.D.
