Hey guys, question for you all:
I'll be selling the home I built in the next few months and I'll be building my next house next year. We did really well on the house and I decided, once it closes, I was going to treat myself to a Jem, that under normal circumstances, I would not buy. I worked hard for 2 years... now it's time to treat myself
So, I know many will say guitars shouldn't be investments... and I see your point. BUT, I would like to pick up a Jem that will certainly hold it's value or even go up over time because of its rarity. One of those rare birds
Me, being the swirl fanatic I am, instantly thought, DNA! Of course, I wish Vai could live forever... but could DNA be worth big bucks down the road??
Then there are these 25ths? VSK? maybe Evo??? Original LNG's?
So, my question is, if I wanted to buy a Jem to play but also keep as a future investment, which Jem would be the ticket??
Thanks in advance!
p.s. I'm really not looking to ever sell this guitar. I'm just looking for opinions and insight on what the better buy would be in this situation. I'm not looking for financial advice either, like "if you want to invest your money, buy stocks..."
