Jem Jr JEMSP Studs

Hi All,

I was cleaning and replacing the bridge on the JEMSP the other day (GOTOH GE1996T) and mispalced the original studs. The Gotoh ones are considerably harder to put on without surgery.

Am hoping to find some aftermarket ones and wondering if anyone knows where I could get them or the diameter dimensions of the studs. I ordered a set on eBay but that didn't fit (small).

Thanks in advance.

IBANEZ RULES!! - PARTS FOR SALE

This is probably best place to order new studs. Since you have great trem, you should buy locking studs for extra tuning stability. Some random studs from ebay may lack in quality.

Re: Jem Jr JEMSP Studs

Thanks. I do have locking studs and anchors that came with the Gotoh - they are too large for the stock anchors and pulling the ones out will require a fill and re-drill and that can get problematic very quickly. EDGE studs won't fit the OEM anchors that came with the Jem Jr.

Have dropped @Rich a note to check if he has any in stock.

If the new anchors are larger there is no need to fill, the bit will follow down the existing hole.

Ah! I'll have to think through it and make sure I have the right tools.
