Maybe for a BEAT example. PBK's are one of the rarer Jems and nice examples fetch good money. I came across an old Rich comment where he thinks that PBK's are the second rarest Jems following VSK's.

I'm pretty sure I sold mine for $1700 two years ago. They are pretty rare to come across really.

Re: JEM PBK

I have two recently purchased from members on this site. One was $1600, the other $2600. Both exc condition. Play amazing, sounds great. If you get a beater with chips, a good luthier can use black and several layers of clear coat, buff it to new condition, because black is easy to repair. I had a chip repaired on one, looks mint condition now. Now Im after a pink Jem777VSK. Any help appreciated.

There is a pbk on eBay now for $1600; I'd buy it but I have two already.

Re: JEM PBK

Remember that the PBK has a Wizard neck on it, not the Jem carve of most of the Jems from that late 80's period. Close your eyes and it will tough to tell from a period 570.

570s are pretty cool. I can only image what a Jem version of a 570 would be like, so to speak.
