Jem replacement

I want a fixed bridge, Mahogany guitar, with ebony board and high output pickups.. classy looking and really deep warm tone to replace the JEM7VWH.. which is ebay btw people..

Now any suggestions maybe sticking with Ibanez or PRS in price range?

Go for a Les Paul. You'll love her. I certainly DO love mine.

My first thought was Les Paul too. Don't own one, but have played a few I wouldn't mind having if I wasn't such a Jemhead.

I don't know if they're available in the UK, but take a look at the RG3271, I so want one!

The Les Paul sounds great..... but you may miss the extra frets, and you may hate the neck and the wight.

You should at least check a fixed brige J Custom, or a PGM90 or PGM10 (if you can afford them).

lol plug plug plug!

Ummm Les Paul...i really don't think i could live without the upper frets =D But there really isn't a tone like an overdriven les paul...

If i had the money i'd go for a PGM10th Definately a looker, and with the ebony board..*drool*!

Yeah, there are alot of fixed bridge options available, but with the criteria you have just stated, I would suggest a Les Paul too. The prices arent too bad either at the minute, and you usually get good resale value too. They dont fluctuate in price very much. I would suggest a Les Paul Custom, maybe a 70's or 80's model. But have a shop around.

Unfortunately PRS doesn't offer ebony as an option on any of their guitars.

How about a Carvin?

Les Paul was my choice.. ended up getting a Les Paul Standard with Rosewood board.. it's absolutly full of sustain and tone.. very happy

bit of a bitch to play mind u but give me 3 months and it wont be a problem at all i'll just adapt. great guitar though amazing tone!

If you get fed up with it you could go for an RG321MH and swap the pickups
