Jem stringing

on the jem7dbk is the factory string setting 9-42 and is it strung the same as a floyd rose..thanks

Yes, and yes * *Make sure you do one string at a time, because the last thing you want is the bridge taking a nap in the cavity.

Block the trem and change them all at once so you can thoroughly clean the board and head.

yeah I take them all off when I do a string change. *That way I can clean everything like Rich said. *Finding the floating position is just one more step in a string change, and it is worth the hassle to be able to clean the guitar. *To find the position simply string the guitar loosely using the bar to prop up the bridge slightly if needed. *Once all the strings are on, you should be able to tune your way back into the floating position. *Good luck man.
