Jem through this.

This is my current set up:

O.k., went shopping for a new amp. I had the money, so it was just going to come down to sound. I tried mesa, marshall, peavey, etc....I almost pulled the trigger on a triple rectifier, but when it came down to it, this amp sounded the best (to me, only my opinion) had the most features and most bang for buck. Drum roll please............

2003 Jem 7vwh(early one, ebony board and pro trem)>tremonti wah>Peavey JSX>mesa 2x12 cab(vintage 30's). Questions, comments?

AWESOME!

Welcome to the JSX club

I'm going Jem7vwh>JSX too although I have a crappy Marshall 1936 cab which sounds like bum compared to my mates XXX cab

Get us some soundclips?

Thanks Bob. I was buying a prs custom 24, but decided I didn't want it any longer. Got the amp instead and have some left over for my next jem (floral if a can find one at a price that will not make me feel like I have been violated).

The amp does sound really sweet. Anyway, how's the 10th. I hope your enjoying her. I really miss her, but I know she is in good hands.

Re: Jem through this.

Looks like trouble to me. Nice set-up. I'd be interested to hear the JSX through the Mesa. Joe's Peavey sound is a hair thin (to me) compared to that of the Marshalls. That Mesa cab could make all the difference.

Pleanty of low end here. And your right, the mesa helps especially since I have it closed back.

The 10th is fine, just waiting for Brian to send the toppers. (should be here tommorrow) I,ll have her set up to my likeing and she'll be ready to rock.

I hope you can find a FP without getting violated, just keep looking/waiting and you'll find a good deal like I did.............
