Jem Tools???

Hey all, iv recently got a 2nd hand Jem 77FP. Its frpm 1989 and i was wondering what bits and bobs came with it originally as it wasn't in its original case when i got it. I got a trem arm with it but thats it. I was wondering what else would have come with a new Jem as standard back then? Allen Wrenches??? Allen Wrench holder for the back of the headstock?? Anything else??

Re: Jem Tools???

when I bought my PBK back in the 80s- the same time as your FP - it came with hex keys (allen wrenches) for the truss rod, trem arm, and the trem assembly. Nothing attached to the back of the headstock or anything like that. Got a basic manual for the trem setup (very basic) and that's it.

That's in Australia - not sure if it was different in the US, but it was pretty basic when buying an axe back in those days. I see the case candy you get today - geez it would take you a week to go thru it all!

I also would like to know where I could find the box allen wrench for my jem's truss know, the ones that look like a smoking pipe. No hardware store sells them.
