JEM/UV cases

Just how many types of cases are there? Is there a section on this site with pics and details? Thanks.

There are 3 types of Ibanez cases:

1. #M100C---- Black Plastic Hardshell - SKB style
2. #RG140C-- Black Tolex covered Hardshell - White IBZ logo
3. #UV1000C Ultra cool Tolex covered/Leather ended Hardshell - Burgandy intirior, Combo lock and Maroon logo

This strait from the 2001 catalog.

In Canada though, yo get the UV1000C, just how you describe it, but minus the Ibanez logo. *Which totally sux. *I'd really like the Ibanez logo, but it doesn't come on any of the Canadian UV cases

I remember in 1992 the BFP's use to come in the UV1000 case but with a gold like rusty color inside. *I see the most comon pink, or the new wine colors around of course. *

Any one have or see the BFP UV1000 Case?

Glen keeps the GC Custom in one of those burnt orange cases. I doubt if they were specific to any model, just a batch that came in a wierd lining color. His is the only one I've seen in person.

There's also the overseas Signature cases which are almost identical to the M100 but have different latches and a 'Signature' plaque. You in the states will recognize them if you've had a 90th in the 'world case'.

RICH,,,,The burnt orange as you call it,,was them wanting to stay away from the color pink for the BFP,s *This was said strait from Ibanez in 92. They were getting a lot of complaints about pink,,

Interesting!! Well most BFP's I've seen are actually in pink lined, no doublt they could have been switched years down the road though. All I know is they're rarer than BFP's IMO LOL

My UV case is pink-lined with a painted-on pink logo. Which one do I have?

Also has the combo lock.

That's true because these cases are MADE IN CANADA. You can get them with the Ibanez logo, you just have to pay the US price for them. I paid $130CDN for my UV cases - that's about $85 US. How much does a UV case cost in the States? I think that Ibanez logo adds about 60% to the price. I think it also ups the "grab me and run" factor, so I prefer mine anonymous and plain. Then again, I don't put my Ibanez or Mesa Boogie bumper stickers on my hatchback, either
