Jem10th number 860

Hi jem lovers

I did buy a jem 10th anniversary i 1996 serial number 860 in Denmark.
Even though "jemsite.com" says only 852 has been made??
Can anybody give a hint/explanation?

Hmm....is your pickguard painted with "clear coating" ?, Sure looks like it is.

My PG on JEM 10th is not painted....

I dont think the guard is cleared, its just a very low quality pic...

Does any one have a Jem10 with serial number higher than 860?

My Pick Guard is ingraved and painted with black paint to fill out the in-graving (orginal).
The black paint gets "rubbed" off by usage, but I also play it on every job with the band.
I had to replace to top mic. because it was "torn apart" by usage, the "cobber-wires" was comming throug the pick-up.
I did a replacement with an org. EVO.

Could it be that some numbers are sacred? 1, 7, 10, 90, 77, 550, 777, 852... And therefore not used, hence they go up to 860, still with only 852 guitars made...

Ok, long shot, but a thought...
