Question JEM77BFP and Steve Vai

Hey guys!!
I'm new here and I bought used JEM77BFP MIJ yesterday. My question is, has Steve Vai ever played this model on stage?

I don't think so, but may be. Why is that so important for you ? What i want to say is, the BFP is a very nice and good sounding Instrument, it was the first Jem i had, so let her weep. Seems to be in good condition. Congrats !
Cheers!

Re: JEM77BFP and Steve Vai

Hi !! I am rather new to JEM and Ibanez superstrats in general and would like to start trying them. I liked the one I tried from a friend of mine (RG550/570). I have been playing LPs, Strats and Charvels.

I have a chance to get a second hand JEM77 Blue Floral Pattern (the new ones) in mint condition. I have heard this is a rather good JEM even if made in Indonesia. And between the JEM77 (Blue Floral Pattern) and the JEM77WDP-CNL what do you guys think? I know the different specs of the guitar thus different tones. Online review from YoutTube all seem to be nice guitars and nice tones.

Should I just wait to get the budget for e made in Japan JEM ilke those JEM7V-WH or a JEM70V-SFG ?

Thanks.
