Did anyone see this JEM77FP2 on Ebay a white back?
The guy had switched out the pickups with red ones with red knobs and red switch tip?
I can't remember if the pickups were Red/Black Red Black/Red or all Red???
Does anyone have a pic, I was going to knab the pic, but never did?

Check out the Ibanez Rules banner at the top. Rich will mod it for you with the red/black pickups for an additional fee. He has pics on his site too.

I remember those pics, I did think it brought the guitar a bit more to life.

Re: JEM77FP2

I'd probably go with creme/red pickups myself.

Re: JEM77FP2

I like this look, but I think I'd probably prefer all red pickups.

Re: JEM77FP2

If you go for the coloured option watch out for the colour match - can be slighly tricky as we found there are a couple of shades of red for one thing and maybe introducing cream is just another issue. Just take your time working out how u want it...

Re: JEM77FP2

The guy I get my pickups from know about all the different color changes that happen with Dimarzio.
He tells me if he has the old or new version of any color and what he has in stock of each version. I just went through this with the Dimarzio yellow. I thought the old yellow was going to be good for my RG350MYE, it was not a good hue of yellow compared to the body yellow. I didn't break the pickup seal on the Dimarzio box, so he let me exchange them for the newer yellow that was a much better hue for the guitar.

Re: JEM77FP2

I my opinion, guitars with color need four colors to be balanced.
This one has Black, Cream, Red and Chrome.
I think the guitar has tooo much black as it is.
The Red needs to come up in the mix.
It's like a swirl, toooo much of one color is not a good thing.
A lot of the swirls have tooo much yellow.
