I've done it but even then, when I pluck the strings behind the nut and do the dive the pitch still changes...

I don't understand why, but I've been abusing like crazy the bridge and it's working almost perfect. Could it be because its new (bought it on July) and needed to adjust or something? This is weird. When I pluck the string behind the nut I still hear a subtle pitch change

Re: Jem77p-bfp tremolo upgrade

My bet a string wasn't stretched enough.

Could be, even though I really streached the strings like crazy. Maybe it needed more! Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it😊.

So, I guess it's normal to get a subtle pitch change behind the loking nut when plucking and diving? Like a vibrato but thin

No, usually the truss cover is jammed up tight against it and won't let it move.

So should I change the locking nut? I guess I'll call the shop where I bought the guitar to see whats up or something

Re: Jem77p-bfp tremolo upgrade

There's nothing wrong with your nut. The screws are ****, you probably don't have it all the way tight, and the cover isn't jammed against it like it should be.

Make sure the neck isn’t shifting in the pocket. Tighten the screws down to the pocket if there’s some give. Don’t overtighten!
