Jem7DBK

Im getting a JEM7DBK soon, and i was wondering, any tips on the maintence?, are they're any downsides? has anyone had problems with they're DBK's?


Whats DBK stand for well i know the BK is black but the D?

7D is the series and the BK is black I think, you just got a 555 and now you get a dbk, the more the merrier they say

The D stands for the dot inlays (even though they are plastic dot inlays with the screw head pattern), and you're right, the BK stands for black.

I would say nothing more special then anything else, the black finish is very durable and most people seem to love the dbk's with breeds for not only the sound but playablity. I myself am very found of mine though I don't play it much.

i'd have to say the paint finish seems thinner and less durable, a ding is still a ding but constant wear or scraping against anything seems to wear more paint off it than others, it's a great playing guitar. great pickups, i don't like the inlays at all personally

they are very good guitars. my only little complain is the neck.
it is a wonderful thin playfriendly neck, but i like the neck on ibanez jem fp
