Jem7DBK Finish - Jem7DBK Finish

I have a question about the textured finish of the Jem7BK. *The finish looks bumpy (textured), but is it textured on top? *Does it feel bumpy, or textured, or is there a thick clear coat so that the feel of it is smooth like a regular finish? *Basically, is the texture done WITHIN the finish, or on top of it?

Thanks

Jem7DBK Finish

it's textured, like you dripped wax on the finish. You should be able to see this in the PHOTO GALLERY shots on jemsite... glen

Yep, it feels quite bumpy. *Not your standard smooth finish feel. *Some of them are really globbed up, but I got lucky when I ordered mine because the finish, although textured, is a lot smoother and more even.

Re: Jem7DBK Finish - Jem7DBK Finish

It helps prevent marks and scratches from what I've heard.
