JEM7DBK textured black

I came across some of those for sale recently. They cost usually considerably less than regular Jem's. Are they not as good as the other's?

Re: JEM7DBK textured black

They are more of a no frills JEM. No vine, textured finish, no gold hardware, no scalloped last four frets, etc. But it's still a JEM and plays just as well as any other IMO.

well having previously owned one I can tell you, they play great. They are cheaper cause they lack certain thing's like vine but the neck is great on them vine or not.

they maybe cheaper than most jem's but worth the purchase, unlike a 555

Re: JEM7DBK textured black

To me the JEM7DBK is a brighter sounding guitar than my other more expensive JEM's

Don't let the price fool you. I have 4 nice Jems, and play it more than all of them.

Re: JEM7DBK textured black

It has different specs (neck/pups) so if you are looking for a JEM give one a try coz you may find you prefer the sound/feel.

That'd be the Breeds

Breeds rule! I prefer them over PAF's and EVO's The neck is thinner than other Jems, but I like the feel. They are not one of my favorite Jems, but still a Jem and still very nice. Especially for the price

Re: JEM7DBK textured black

I dont like the finish at all. But it is a good purchase.

I regret not buying one that was offered to me a while ago. It would ve been an interesting guitar to customize.
