Re: Jem7v

They are outstanding instruments, but it looks like you should have done a little more research before you spent your cash. Once the guitrar is on its way and paid for seems a bit too late to me to start looking for opinions on its quality, playability and price. But, done is done and they are still outstanding guitars. I think I would look into a return policy if I were you, return it once you get it, and get one from Rich at IbanezRules (swirly banner up top) instead. You'll get a better setup instrument right out of the box and pay a lot less as well. Just a thought though....

I purchased a used JEM 7VWH from Rich, he is the man. The JEM is now my main guitar and the set was/is phenomenal.

The frets, the bridge, the sound, that new guitar smell, Your gonna love it! As soon as you feel that wood in your hands your gonna start feeling wood in your pants, Enjoy your purchase and play your ass off.

Re: Jem7v

Is this guy serious? What everyone else really said is you should have tried the guitar first and read reviews before actually ordering and paying that kind of cash.

You asked the question whether you spent too much or not anyway...

P.S. Replying in that manner really doesn't do justice to a non-stupid person IMO.

Anyway enjoy your guitar I have no doubt its a quality instrument however even the most expensive guitars don't feel right sometimes (e.x. I prefer a friend's ESP Horizon FR-2 to another friend's PRS Custom 24, the PRS friends prefers my RGT220 over the other's Horizon, and the other really doesn't have any preferences any plays awesomely on all three isntruments.)

Wall of text I know... and its probably not even going to be read...

Love these guys that ask a question and then hate it when they don't get the answer they wanted. Like the $200 rebate made overpaying OK, when he could have gotten a much better guitar, much cheaper, and STILL gotten the rebate

Ironic, this is the best place on the web to talk about JEMs. Unless you're a [ ].
