Pretty much, unless I'm forgetting something. Sad, too, as I prefer alder as well.

I believe it's the only alder ibanez currently in production. There's a few models out there that used to come in alder, someone was selling a, what, ghost rider? or something around here a few months ago, in alder. i wanted it.

Far and away my favorite tonewood, that i've gotten to play, anyhow.

the evolution pups really come ALIVE in alder bodied instruments. i put one in my Strat plus (alder) and it is SMOKIN"!!
i think it is just the blue sparkle and the white in the REAL jem series that are alder bodied. maybe the 50k edition will be alder.

I have a RT650 that has an alder body, I can't think of other Ibanezes that have/had an alder body. It's a shame...

My 1992 442R is Alder.

A couple of the current GRX series guitars are alder as well.

Why would they make the GRX series out of alder and the JEMs and RGs out of basswood?

I'm not so sure about the GRXs being made from alder...are you sure they all aren't agathis? (the website and catalogs have been wrong before...)
