Talking JEM7VSBL

Has anyone noticed, or am I out of the loop?! Who knows about this?

My first VSBL had an all blue vine, blue stem (vine) & blue leaves. Than I sold it (stupid) and regretted it, and bought another. The first one had an all blue vine, the second one I bought a gold stem and blue leaves. Who has noticed this and why the difference. I think I like the all blue better. Moreover, they were\are both 2002 models.

Here is blue on blue http://www.jemsite.com/jem/model/jem7vsbl.htm . I can submit blue on gold if needed.

Did they do this with other vine models?

Re: JEM7VSBL

Wow, I never noticed that. I always thought it was a goldish colored stem and blue leaves. I didn't know the stem was blue at one point. Interesting. I like those VSBLs alot, they're nice.

I am one picky SOB, I have to have one of each I think! Just ask my girlfriend, or past gfs, they all say I'm too picky.

Re: JEM7VSBL

Nothing wrong with that. Before I acquired my UV7BK , I wanted a second PWH to brother mine.

Awesome. Why did you want a 2nd UVWH? Show some of your guitars.

I see what you're saying here. I've never noticed there was a difference. I saw yours and another picture. The stem on the vines do look blue or light gold.

There was a thread on it years ago, no consensus, no answers.

Not to split hairs here, however, there is a difference for sure! I owned a blue on blue (from Rich) and now, the one on my wall is blue and gold! Why would they do this? No doubt, I've seen both and held both in my hand.

Re: JEM7VSBL

My post didn't come out correctly. I agree with you that the stems are different colors. Before your post here, I never noticed the different colored stems. Sorry about my wording. My fault.

Here they are (I posted them in a few threads by the way) ~

Only because I love my PWH and I would love another one just to have, preferrably a dead mint one, or a beater will do. .
