JEM7VSBL with Sustainiac installed...

Picked up one of those MF JEM7VSBLs and sent it off to Maniac Music to get a Sustainiac installed (I got the Stealth Plus) last week, and it just showed up today. I played around with a little and its pretty cool. Haven't had much time to play though since my wife just had a baby a week ago today

I did manage to snap a few pictures tonight though, here is a pointer:

The switch closest to the volume knob is the sustainer on/off, the other toggle switch is a three way toggle for normal/mix/harmonic modes.

Nice!! Do you miss your neck pickup? Do you think it would be possible to install a single coil sized pickup next to the sustainer?

The Stealth Plus acts like a pickup when the sustainer is off and sounds reasonable. You can also get a Steallth and then install another pickup right next to it. I decided to go with the plus, since this isn't my main guitar and I decided I could live with the plus as the neck pickup.

Lots of information available at www.sustainiac.com if you are interested...

Cool!
The installation job looks first rate. Sooner or later I will have to get me a guitar with a sustainer. For now I'll store it with my other excused that I need to justify buying another guitar.

Yeah that's very cool, Roland. I want a sustainer soooo bad. Post some sound clips if you can.

Nice work for sure! Roland, did you talk to Alan H. over there?

With the battery box done so neatly, I am open game for doing this to the project (herc swirled) DY

it is very possible, here is a sustainiac right beside an HS2, took me a while to figure out the mounting plate, but it works very well.

Sweet man, and congrats on the new kid. Maybe you could start him (her?) on the guitar a little early?!

I exchanged lots of email with Alan, then called him to finalize the details, and shipped it off. He was exteremely helpful throughout the whole thing, and turned it around very quickly too. They did a great job.

Jeremy that's beautiful! I'm thinking about getting a sustainer down the road for the new USGC.. How much would you charge for one installed?
