Jem7vwh '03 finicky with changes in the weather?

Anybody else having trouble with your Jem when the weather changes?
Mine seems to keep going 2 cents flat & also fretting out sooner than it had.
...let me explaine....
I recently set it up so that I could pull-up a 5th on the open "G" which would be the note at the 7th fret "D"& THEN fret out on the "Eb" (8th fret) ....lately, she's been fretting out on the "D" the 7th fret.

maybe it's just a matter of adjusting the trussrod.
I really don't want to raise the bridge any higher.

But still, the entire guitar goes flat after sitting overnight (maybe 1-2 days)
The guitar is coming up on one year old. Is it still "breaking-in"?

i don't know how far i can pull my trem up on my RG without breaking the strings, since i don't want to be changing strings every two days, never experimented with the full upward range.

yeah, I could probably adjust it so that the open strings don't fret out at all but I fear that I'd lose my low action.
it's got that really cool "squack" when the strings fret out.
cool for trying to cop Vai licks
