jem7vwh body to re-finish - suggestions please

Heres the deal.

i have a jem7vwh body thats ready for a re-finish.

what shall i do with this blank canvas?

Do you have a 7vwh neck to put on it once it's done? Let us know what you're going to be attaching to it, so people can imagine the whole picture.

yup, full vine 7vwh neck


problem is i have three swirls already and i'm feeling the water on 'other' finishes.

You could go retro on it, paint it LNG, get some pink bobbin toppers and a pair of yellow knobs....

People have done fabric finishes... why not leather?

Just bond some nice hide to that thing, maybe with some stainless steel or aluminum binding. You could even get a logo or symbol embossed in the leather before bonding it.

Leather also wears really nicely and get sa nice patina over time.
