JEM7VWH pickguard fits JEM555WH??? - just wonder

I want to change the pickguard of my JEM555WH. I tried to order from Ishibashi Musical Instruments in Japan. But they told me due to discontinue of JEM555, there is no longer any JEM555 pickguard anymore. I'd like to know is the JEM7VWH pickguard fits my JEM555WH or not. The size, screw position, everything...

thanks!

JEM7VWH pickguard fits JEM555WH???

Whilst I've never tried it, I believe that the screw hole positioning is different between the JEM555 and JEM7 which means that you have to drill another hole in the guitar or pickguard. Also there's a possibility of there being differences in the size of the guard around the bridge due to the diffrences in the Edge/TRS rout size.

JEM7VWH pickguard fits JEM555WH???

look up... click VENDOR LIST

Overseas shipping makes it less convenient but at the price of the VWH guards from ibanez with no guaranteed fit... it should be worth it... glen

JEM7VWH pickguard fits JEM555WH???

Due to the Low-TRS the width of the cutout at the bottom where the trem comes up to the pick guard is different than on a VHW guard. Other than that there really shouldn't be much difference...

Even that is minamal and you may get away with it..
