Joe's new 2400

Joe's got a white JS2400 with the sustainiac in the neck position. Was using it at the Cliff 2 concert.

Re: Joe's new 2400

Any particular songs that stood out with the sustainiac in full swing? I still haven't made my mind up on the 24 fret model yet. I have a few 24 fret guitars and still find it harder to get used to them.....I get a bit visually disoriented at the top of the fretboard.

I can't say this really sounded to different either way. I don't like sustainers. I know they can be used for cool effects but I feel like there is something less natural about it. But that's just my opinion I can see the benefits

Re: Joe's new 2400

Every demo I see of them makes me smile, and it seems like they're a tool that could become useful in a musical sense. But just like other 'effects' such as the Whammy, overuse just reduces its impact and makes me turn off from the fun of it. I've considered getting a sustaniac installed in a project guitar that I'm putting together, just cos its different and its something I don't currently have.....
