JS1000 through a fender amp

I was wondering how you JS1000 owners felt about playing it through a fender amp. Are you guys liking your tone?

What kind of overdrives are you guys using infront of your amp with your JS?

I know how the guitar sounds through a marshall, and frankly, i'm curious if the guitar will sound good through a fender.

I have played it though a solid-state Fender Deluxe 112 Plus and it isn't pretty. Then again, find a nice, old Fender tube amp and I am sure it would get alot better.

I'm playing it through a twin...so i think it'll sound decent. I guess nobody has anything to say.....i like how many views it has, but how little replies it gets.

Isn't it funny how that works out?!

Once again blasphemy ( unless thats a cybertwin ) Fender makes boring amps in my opinion. And I dont think that guitar mates well with them at all. But thats just me

he is right....I don't think Ibanez and Fender amps can really mesh very well...some can, and that's great. But you would really be better off with another guitar for that amp.

I play everything through my cyber-twin now. Including all Ibanez, Fender, Gibson, EBMM and custom guitars...

I also use Ibz ts pedal, boss ds1 and a few other things such as BBE Sonic Maximizer...

if it gives you the tone you want, use it. who cares what it looks like or the name on the box.

I dont believe in the whole "this brand of guitar only works with this amp"....i think amps and guitars have different voicings and different combinations give you unique sounds. One being no better than the other.
So i'm inline with BrianH. Just wanted to know if anyone else was running fender amps.

i play a fender deville 212 and i love it. i was thinking of getting a 1000 or even a 90th but this thread is beginning to scare me... is it that you people dont like fender amps... "just because" or they just sound horrible thru fender amps?

I used to play blackfaced Fender Bassman amps, and I can honestly say
you will be VERY hard pressed to get a better clean channel for any
guitar, then on an old Fender blackfaced. Especially the Bassman.

When botique amp makers work their clean channel, it's generally an
old Fender design they start with.

On the other hand, I've yet to hear an old blackfaced fender sound good
with any distortion type pedal in front of it besides a germainium fuzz face.

IMHO, the best of all worlds for me would be a Fender blackface Bassman
for clean, a Mesa Dual Recto for Rythem, and a DS-1/Marshall lead sound.

At least that's what I'm trying to strive for (sigh)
