JS2400 push pull pot issue

I just got the JS2400, and both the volume and tone pots just come out of its place. They are push pull pots. I've never seen this before. So they are either broken or there is a way to "latch" them?

If anyone knows about this, it would be appreciated! I talked with Rich and Ibanez rules and he says they are broken, but both pots do this and the owner of the guitar said he got it this way...

Re: JS2400 push pull pot issue

The owner didn't buy it from me because I pack to make sure they never blow out. Otherwise the question has already been answered, they're broken and not repairable.

Re: JS2400 push pull pot issue

New pots are not too expensive... My most recent project was an RG440 with H-S pickguard and I wired it like JS, with the push-pull pots for coil tapping and treble bleed.
