Just got my 2004 JEM7VWH..and signed by VAI!!!!

Hi guys,
Just like to share with everyone a few pics..I just got a JEM7VWH with the rosewood fretboard...managed to get it signed when Vai was down for a concert last week!! The concert was just simply amazing..although the local organiser did a poor job organising the aftershow/meet greet. I only managed to get my guitar signed as it was packed to the brim, didnt have space to even move!
And somehow I grew to like the rosewood fretboard. Maybe my ears are playing tricks, but it does sound so much warmer than the one with ebony I had a year ago. Although I have to admit, ebony does feel so much smoother..and look classier?

Anyway, enough of the rants..here's the pics

Very nice indeedy!
I aint too bothered what it is, rosewood or ebony, I would take either anyday of the week TBH. I think i prefer the look of the ebony though, it just looks a little "sharper" to me.

Its good to know there is a tone difference there!

Hey Nice guitar, thanks for sharing it with us. It must be so cool to own a jem, especially now you've got it signed by steve vai. Excellent!
I want a jem, signed by vai.

Thanks guys!

I just spent the whole day today changing the strings out again..I originally set it up with 9-46s..now I've switched them back to the stock 9-42s.
And I did give the trem angle some tweaks..now, it's able to pull up much more..from D to a G (on the G string) if my ears don't fail me..but not that much on other strings though...Is this what it should be?

However, I do notice that the tuning does go off a little..but not that significant..anyway to improve this?
