A little BSB explanation - Got it finally

Ok guys i got my BSB. It has a few worn ups on the sides but all in all its in great mint condition. (I think worn ups are pretty normal on an unfinished guitar. btw it looks cool) It serial # is F98 150 75.
What tells this? Could somebody grab some information about it? Well and i thought about finishing the side with a little clear finish. Good idea or not? What u guys think?. Ohhhhh and what i forgot.....heheh......It sounds like Heaven and plays like Hell. Man u gotta love it.

Don't put any new finish on it, unless you want to change the feel. I like the unfinished nature, and I like the worn bits, and I like were the wood is starting to show through where the finish is wearing away. All my wear! Couldn't be better The arm rest is slightly shiny and smooth, the finish is going off the neck and it has a few dings here and there, worn bits and...it looks damn cool! If you plan to keep it, don't refinish it!!!

As to the serial number question, I think F98 means 1998 for production year, the other numbers, just a serial number really... Not much relevance as far as I know

Very nice indeed!
Damn, now I feel a terrible urge to get myself a BSB. I'm gonna sit very still in a corner and wait until the GAS attack goes away.

The thing with BSB's is, every picture I've seen of them never does the guitar justice, see one up close and you'll see what I mean

ANyway, here's one or two pics of mine. Don't have any in detail shots as I don't own a digital camera, but one day I'll get some good ones (especially of the worn bits, yummy!)

oh, and not a single picture is out there of me playing my BSB , heh , maybe some day....
