Looking for a JEM7EAFX (stoptail)

Hi guys,

I have been searching for a JEM7EAFX, the stoptail; does anyone know of a local music store that still has one in-stock? I keep finding these bigger stores that list them in-stock, but when I call, they are all sold out.

If anyone happens to know of a store with one still available, please let me know.

Thanks,
BJR

I happen to be the rarest of all ducks, as I have seen one in a store (here in Denver), played it for sometime and decided that it was a hell of a guitar, then went home and bought the only known example that Rich has ever sold.

Great guitar. I know it has been often maligned here, but it is one of the finest playing and sounding guitars that I own.

By the way, that is comparing it to my 91'FP, 93'BFP, 01'7VW, 03'VSBL, 07'UV, and 08'7VW.

I spend a lot of time behind classicals and acoustics - so the fixed bridge was a very sought after feature for me, and the fact that it is very much built as a Jem in fit and finish made it a "no brainer" purchase for me.

So, nuff said. Great guitar...

And I can honestly say that at least two of them exist here in Colorado - the store in question sold the other one late last year.

By the way,

When last I posted about this, I said I would get some pics up on this site.

I need to get off my ass and do that.

Will try soon, but am relatively new to this site and will have to wade thru what seems to be pic posting issues.

Red face Re: Looking for a JEM7EAFX (stoptail)

Diggin up an old thread here... but in a current fit of GAS at the moment and this is potentially on my shopping list.

Does any one know if the logo behind the fixed bridge removable? Quite tempted on one if I can get rid of the eyesore.

Thanks

James

Only if you strip the finish down to the wood.
