Question Which molded cases will fit a Jem?

Proud owner of a '91 Jem 777VBK. Pretty stoked. My first Jem. I've owned several Universes. Still tweaking it and getting it setup to my preferences, but I'm very impressed with its beauty and sound.

I want to fit it with a nicer sturdier case. Maybe want to bypass the UV1000 and look for something else. Is there a molded case that will fit the Jem like a glove?

Thanks

-Robbie

M100C or any other Ibanez case that fits Jems and RGs.

Re: which molded cases will fit a Jem?

which would be?

seriously, though. Thanks. I know about the M100C, but I'd like something with a closeable compartment (M100C doesn't have a compartment). Is there an SKB or a Gator case that fits Jems snuggly?

Yeah--SKB-66, but no compartment. I think you'll have to either stick with an original case, or compromise for no compartment.

M100C is your best bet. I got one of those for my DY, which came in a random Fender case. The newer blue interior M100C's are not bad cases. They fit a Jem very snugly.

Get one of the Prestige cases they come with now. I've got two from my PGMs and I've stored a few JEMs in them at one point and they are my favorite ones.

HMM.....I think I've only put the AANJ necked ones in there not any of my older JEMs. I'll go grab one and try and put my 777VBK in to make sure it fits.

The only issue with putting square heeled bodies in an AANJ molded case, is that some folks have complained of the pocket stress cracks occurring.

Ya know what though..my PGM 100RE came in one of those cases and its a square heeled body so whatever model number that case is it would fit your 777VBK. Ask Rich.
