The monster project - New body

Hi all,
You may have seen that Brian, UniversalJems.com, has partnered up with some guys (like LGM and Rich), to supply all our GAS filled needs.
I ordered a body thru his partner Charles.
Check out these pictures, and prepare to have your jaw dropped...

Sweet, no?

Also, Rich sold me a hardware set, Glen is hopefully helping out on other bits, so this will be a totall Jemsite Jem. It will feature my old 7VWH neck, which is fully repaired, gold hardware, sutainiac system, and Evo's. So basicly a Jem7 knock off with only the body as non original and a sutainiac.

EDIT: fixed links.

Too bad you can't buy a Double Edge by itself, otherwise you could have a never-ending acoustic tone with a trem! Damn that'd be cool.

Charles makes some excellent quality parts. I know, my last project was with a JPM body he cut.
PERFECT in every detail.

You should have no problems with the fit or finish on the body.

From the looks of the picture it's killer. It's shipped out just yesterday, so it will be a while before I can touch it, but I'm sure it's as good as it looks.
He allready fitted some parts of his own Jem to insure perfect fitting, so.
He's an awesome dude to work with, very patient and competent.
I hope we can see his neck works soon, that should be promissing.

Mightily impressed. Starting to save my pennies now...
I don't know if this is a moot point and I don't want to offend, but does anybody know how the quality/accuracy compares to a body by CGW?

GWC = Ed Wood, right? I got one of his bodies too (Thanks Jimm V..:-)), and it's great!
Check it out in the gallerys from Brian at www.universaljems.com, look for 'jeroen'. It's the Bad Horsie axe.
And IIRC, Glens Mighty Custom is from GWC too.
